COVID - 19 Protection Policies

At King & Captain we are taking the safety of our staff and customers extremely seriously. We have analysed all risks, created risk assessments and altered the operations in our salons to ensure that you and our staff are safe!
Therefore there will be a few changes to how your appointment will work;
  • We have gone appointment only which means that unless you have an appointment we will not be able to work with you.
  • All our staff will be wearing masks and we will ask you to do so. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one.
  • This is mandatory and if you do no want to wear one you will be refused service.
  • Everyone should attend their appointment alone
  • The ONLY EXCEPTION to the above rule is one parent waiting for their child.
  • Upon entry everyone will be required to use the hand sanitiser provided.​
  • No children will be allowed to sit on parents knees and your child must sit for the duration of the service without support. Parents must wait in the designated area and will not be allowed to stand next to the child. As much as this goes against our usual ethos, we must do this for the safety of our team.
  • Beard services will be available, at your barbers discretion. We will not force our team to do something they don't want to do. We apologise for any inconvenience.
  • Each client will have a fresh gown and all equipment and surfaces will be disinfected before the start of every service.
  • No toilets will be available, with the exception of small children only!
  • Upon completion of your service, you will head to the till and will be asked to use contactless payment where possible, cash is still accepted, exact change preferred.
  • All doors and window will remain open and we ask that you minimise contact with all surfaces.​
  • If you or anyone you have been in recent contact with has symptoms of COVID-19 please contact us via phone or facebook to rearrange your appointment. DO NOT ENTER.
  • Please adhere to the governments 2m social distancing rule with all other customers and staff.
